Mr Malviya is a member of Arqaam Capital's Financial Risk
Committee and its Operational Controls Committee and is Head of
Finance and helped to set up the Finance Function at Arqaam
Capital. He is a Chartered Certified Accountant with 13 years of
experience in auditing, risk management and financial controls at
several of the world's biggest financial services firms.
He began his career in 1997 in Bank of America's internal audit
and country administration department. He moved to Standard
Chartered's lending department and was instrumental in converting
the bank's shares to an electronic format.
He later worked in the Risk Management Department of Visa
International in London followed by a move to Lloyds TSB, taking
responsibility for management and statutory accounting, balance
sheet management, transfer pricing and Basel-related compliance and
regulatory projects.
Mr Malviya has also worked for Merrill Lynch and Deutsche Bank.
During his three years at Deutsche, he was responsible for
financial control and risk management. Most recently Mr Malviya
served as a consultant with PricewaterhouseCoopers' Financial
Services Advisory team.
Mr Malviya has been a Fellow of The Association of Chartered
Certified Accountants (ACCA) since June 2006 and has been a member
since 2001. He studied Economics and Mathematics at the University
of Lucknow, India.
