Tarek Lotfy is a Managing Director responsible for the
development of a product strategy as well as the distribution of
Arqaam Capital's financial products. Prior to joining Arqaam
Capital, Tarek was Head Of Deutsche Asset Management for the MENA
region. Within this role he was responsible for product
development, strategy and placement as well as coverage of the
regional client base, including sovereign wealth funds, central
banks, family offices and other institutional clients. He was
a member of the MENA Executive Committee as well as the Global
Institutional Operating Committee.Previous responsibilities include
senior sales and trading roles at EFG-Hermes and Fleming CIIC,
where he was Head of Equity Sales, managing a team of 15 account
managers / sales traders. He was also Head of Sales at
Intercapital Securities, an ING Barings - Commercial International
Investment Company (CIIC) joint venture, which was voted top
equities firm in Egypt. Commercial International Investment Company
advised Egypt on its first private placement, its first Global
depository Receipt (GDR), and its first private sector IPO. Tarek
holds a Bachelor of Science with Honors from McMaster
University. He has also completed his NASD Series 7 (General
Securities Representative), Series 65 (Registered Investment
Advisor), and Series 24 (General Securities Principal). |

As Managing Director, Sanjeev is responsible for Arqaam
Capital's Risk Management and Quantitative Strategies areas, and is
the architect for the development of the firm-wide Treasury and
Exposure Management System.Sanjeev has over twenty years experience
in banking and finance, most recently as Managing Director at
Auriga Partners. In this role, he provided trading, risk and
portfolio management solutions to both buy and sell-side firms. In
particular, he created high-alpha trading strategies for hedge
funds and CTAs, including amongst others for a $400 billion
European central bank fund. In addition, he performed valuation of
multi-billion dollar derivatives portfolios for investment
banks; developed pricing models for clearing-houses and financial
institutions; assisted liquidators and investors in cases stemming
from the collapse of the two Bear Stearns Credit Derivatives funds;
and integrated BlackRock Solutions, TradeGames, APT, Barra and
Intex into the world's largest trading desks. His latest assignment
at Auriga was as Senior Advisor with Abu Dhabi based Investment
Company, NFBC, where he directed the firm's trading and finance
operations.Prior to Auriga, Sanjeev served as Managing Director and
Head of Derivatives Trading for Nomura Securities International,
North America, with a notional book exceeding $500 billion in
exotic positions alone. Sanjeev previously headed Nomura's Exotics
Trading and OTC interest-rate options desks; and helped build the
firm's cross-product arbitrage trading system which generated
$300mm in profits each year. Sanjeev holds an MBA from
Harvard Business School in Boston, and a B.Tech in Electrical
Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur. |
