Management team
The Executive Directors are assisted in the management of Arqaam
Capital by the Senior Managers.
Arqaam Capital's team comprises of talented investment bankers
and professionals with significant regional and international
experience. Our approach has been to recruit the best of
international talent from the investment banks and supplement this
by local hires, so that the international experience is
complimented by the regional knowledge to create a balanced and
uniquely qualified team. These hires have been further supplemented
by the recruitment of juniors from highly regarded international
graduate management schools.
Our team now comprises of investment bankers and other
professionals with experience from firms such as Credit Suisse
First Boston, UBS Warburg, Lehman Brothers, Barclays Capital,
Deutsche Bank, Citigroup, BNP Paribas, ABN AMRO, Rabobank, WestLB
Panmure, Goldman Sachs and others. Biographies in relation to all
our team members are available upon request.

| Hamid Rashidmanesh / Managing Director
& General Counsel |

Hamid Rashidmanesh is a Managing Director and our General
Counsel. He is a senior English-qualified solicitor with a broad
corporate/commercial background advising on a range of matters,
including M&A; fundraisings; financial services issues; joint
ventures and private equity transactions. He trained and qualified
at the English law firm of Nabarro Nathanson, before moving on to
the London office of US law firms McDermott, Will & Emery and
Morrison & Foerster. He is referred to in both the "Who´s Who
in American Law" and the "Who´s Who of Emerging Leaders". Mr.
Rashidmanesh has a BSc in Government and Law and a MSc in
International Relations from the London School of Economics; and
has passed the Common Professional Examination and the Legal
Practice Course, with commendation, from The College of Law, Store
Street. He also studied for his doctorate degree in the London
School of Economics on philosophy and international relations. |

Ali Khan is a Managing Director in our Brokerage team. Mr. Khan
has been involved with investment banking for 15 years, starting
his career with OCBC Securities (part of OCBC Bank) in 1995 in
Singapore covering the Singapore and Malaysian markets for
institutional clients, where he significantly increased the
institutional business in the first 2 years. He then joined HSBC
Securities in Singapore as a Senior Sales trader covering the ASEAN
markets, before moving across to HSBC Corporate Finance in London.
Mr. Khan has also been involved in setting up and managing a family
investment office in Switzerland, before joining Bank of China
International Private Equity team in Hong Kong in 2004. Mr. Khan
has an MBA in International Management from Exeter University,
UK. |
| Marc Hoodless / Managing Director / Human
Resources |

Marc Hoodless is a Managing Director with responsibility for
Human Resources (HR). Mr. Hoodless joined Arqaam Capital with a
mandate to establish a strategic HR function that supports key
business objectives. His early career in Human Resource Management
within Morgan Grenfell (now part of Deutsche Bank) provided a
strong grounding in professional HR processes and also included 3
years in business development, through which he acquired a broad
knowledge of investment banking. He then moved to Ansbacher for 8
years; then NatWest Markets and ING before becoming Global Head of
HR at Rabobank International in the Netherlands, where he was
involved in building a global investment banking operation. He was
Head of HR at C Hoare & Co in London for 4 years prior to
joining Arqaam Capital. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute
of Personnel and Development and is Deputy Chair of the City HR
Association in London. |
