Mr Al Qatami is the Chairman and Managing Director of Ajwan Gulf Real Estate Co based in Kuwait, which specialises in international property investments. He also has significant investment banking experience from prior positions with Al Ahli Bank of Kuwait (as Investment Manager - Treasury and Investment Division); Al Ahlia Investment Company (as Senior Investment Manager - Portfolio and Asset Management); Gulf Investment Corporation (as Assistant Manager - Asset Management Division); and investment training with the Kuwait Investment Authority (which included short-term positions with various institutions, including Morgan Stanley).

Mr Al Qatami has a BA in Business Administration (with a focus on Marketing) from The American College in London and a MBA in Finance from Kuwait University.
