Wednesday, September 01,2010 - In line with Qatar National Bank's ('QNB')international expansion strategy, QNB and PT Bank Kesawan TBK('Bank Kesawan') are pleased to announce that a "Letter of Intent"has recently been signed between the two parties. Theenvisaged transaction, if seen through, would make QNB the "StandbyBuyer" for a planned Rights Issue and may result in QNB becomingthe controlling shareholder of the Indonesian based bank.
